Come join our team and be a part of the daily operations at the Donald Ross designed LuLu Country Club golf course.
The club's membership are avid golfers and we do about 35,000 rounds a year.
Members of the grounds crew are given golfing privileges most days of the week.
We are currently looking for seasonal and part-time workers.
Candidates with golf courses or landscaping experience are highly encouraged to apply.
We can offer flexible schedules to retirees and students as well.
GENERAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Daily maintenance to prepare LuLu's 18-hole championship course for membership.
Precise mowing - greens, tee boxes, fairways, rough, and around clubhouse.
Edging, raking, and other duties including sand trap maintenance.
Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up) Assists with golf course set-up procedures Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas Incorporates safe work practices in job performance Performs other duties as required Watering and heavy machine operation if capable and partake in projects.
Flexible Schedules of 4- or 8-hour shifts.
Job Requirements:
Be able to lift 50 lbs.
or more.
Walk long distances.
Work in different weather environments (heat, cold, rain) Be able to work weekend mornings (3-4 hours).
Must be reliable and able to follow oral/visual instructions Able to work on an individual basis and occasionally part of a small group Must have reliable transportation to work This job is for:
