Job Type Part-timeDescriptionJob purposeThe intake counselor will serve with the department director and team to provide professional, prompt, and friendly interaction with prospective students.
This role provides the first contact for all inquiries into the MDiv, MAR and advanced degree programs.
The role supports and serves the admissions counselors by providing high touch care to prospective students at the beginning of their admissions journey.
Duties and responsibilities Interact with leads on logistical questions such as program structure/design, cost/financial aid, transfer of credits, and other program details.
Respond to messages from visitors to the website, respond to emails generated by campaigns.
Provide 15-20 hours of availability throughout the week for leads to schedule phone/internet appointments within our online phone appointment system.
Record and organize notes from student interactions RequirementsQualifications Demonstrated ability to excel in team-oriented collaboration Proven self-management skills Ability to organize and manage large amount of prospective student data Strong attention to detail in verbal and written communication Familiarity with history, faculty, and theology of Westminster Have completed at least one year in the MDiv or MAR program at Westminster OR is currently an alum of either program This job operates primarily in an academic environment.
This is a part-time, non-exempt position of 15-20 hours per week, depending on time of year and office need is expected.
This is an on-campus job which requires presence in the Admissions Office and therefore residence in the greater Philadelphia area.
